These terms govern the $200 Booster referral bonus only. They are separate from, and do not affect, the Official Rules for the IBC2026 scratch card promotion.
Any IBC2026 attendee whom IO River met at the show, including anyone whose badge was scanned at Stand 5.B18, may submit a referral under this program. IO River employees, contractors and their immediate families are not eligible.
There is no limit on how many referrals you may submit, and each qualified meeting earns its own $200 bonus. If you refer three people and all three result in qualified meetings, you earn $600.
All referrals remain subject to Section 2 below and to the total program cap in Section 5.
The referral must be a real, named individual with responsibility for CDN, infrastructure, or platform reliability decisions. The contact may be at the referrer's own company or at any other company.
A referral is not eligible if, at the time it is submitted, the named contact is already recorded in IO River's CRM as a lead, an open opportunity, or an existing customer.
A referral is qualified, and the $200 bonus is earned, when:
A meeting that takes place but does not reach a concrete next step (e.g. an initial exploratory call with no follow-up requested) does not qualify.
IO River's VP Sales has final authority to mark a referral as qualified and to approve payout. This decision is final and at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Form. The $200 bonus is issued as a $200 Amazon gift card, sent by email to the referrer's business email address - not cash and not a bank transfer. It is issued for the Amazon marketplace of the referrer's own country where Amazon operates one, and otherwise for amazon.com, or an equivalent alternative gift card or voucher of the same value where Amazon has no local marketplace, agreed individually with the referrer. Subject to Amazon's own gift-card terms and expiry.
Timing. Within 14 days of the referral being marked qualified. IO River will contact the referrer by email to confirm their country before issuing the card; the 14-day period is suspended for any time IO River is awaiting that information from the referrer.
Currency. The bonus is USD 200. Where the card is issued for a non-US marketplace, it is issued for the local-currency equivalent of USD 200 at the exchange rate on the date of issue.
Cap. This program has a total budget cap of $10,000 across the entire IBC2026 Booster referral program. Bonuses are paid on a first-qualified, first-paid basis.
If the cap is reached, further qualified referrals are recorded and waitlisted rather than immediately paid. Sponsor will make a single decision on whether to release additional budget for the waitlist by December 15, 2026, and will notify waitlisted referrers of the outcome either way. If additional budget is not approved by that date, waitlisted referrals will not be paid and the waitlist closes. Being waitlisted is not a guarantee of payment.
One payout per referral submission, regardless of how large the resulting deal is.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this referral bonus program at any time, for any reason, including suspected fraud or abuse, without liability to any referrer. A referral that appears fabricated, duplicated, or self-referred (naming the referrer's own alternate contact information) may be disqualified at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Declining to submit a referral, or a submitted referral not being marked qualified, has no effect on a Booster winner's entitlement to their underlying $1,500 CDN migration prize under the Official Rules - the two are entirely independent.
Personal data collected about the referred contact (name, role, phone, email, LinkedIn) is handled as described in IO River's general Privacy Policy and in the IBC2026 Privacy Supplement, which covers this specific flow - data provided about a third party by someone else. Privacy questions and rights requests, from a referrer or a referred contact: privacy@ioriver.io.
IO River discloses on first contact that a colleague at their company referred them. If the referrer checked "Don't mention my name when you reach out," that disclosure says a colleague referred them without naming the referrer - the anonymity option covers the referrer's identity, not the existence of the referral itself.
The anonymity option means IO River will not name the referrer when it reaches out. If the referred contact later submits a formal data protection request asking for the source of their personal data, applicable law may require IO River to identify the referrer. IO River will notify the referrer before doing so.
These Referral Bonus Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the referrer's country of residence.
