Origins Overview
Origin is where your content is being stored, for example a S3 bucket or other HTTP server. When you create a service you are required to define at least one Origin.
After the service is created, you can add additional origins for your service, and use these:
- As separate targets for different domains, paths, or patterns
- As an Origin Set, where the same content is available in multiple locations, for increased availability or load-balancing
Once origin is defined, you can route traffic to it by creating a domain route.
